ograpetrolprice.com is an independent Pakistani fuel-price desk. Our single purpose is to answer one question faster and more reliably than anyone else: what is the fuel price in Pakistan today? We publish only prices that appear in the official OGRA notification or Finance Division press release for the current fortnight, cross-verified against the PSO tariff before every update.

How we source prices

We rely on primary government sources only — OGRA circulars, Finance Division press releases and the Ministry of Energy notification for each fortnight. Where available, we automatically fetch the published tariff from PSO and diff it against the previous notification. Nothing on this platform is user-submitted, scraped from unofficial resellers, or estimated.

Verification workflow

  1. Automated scraper fetches PSO's latest tariff every 30 minutes.
  2. When a change is detected, Ch. Shariq Shabbir opens the underlying OGRA notification PDF and confirms each product's price line-by-line.
  3. Sana Yousuf independently re-verifies against the Finance Division release before the change goes live on the site.
  4. Every published change is logged with a timestamp and the source document URL.

Corrections

If you find a price that doesn't match an official notification, email corrections@ograpetrolprice.com. We correct within 1 business day of confirmation and log every material correction on our editorial policy page.

We are not affiliated with OGRA, PSO, Shell, Total, Attock, or any oil marketing company. The editorial team accepts no compensation, sponsorship or gifts from petroleum industry participants in exchange for editorial coverage. The site is funded by contextual display advertising served through independent ad networks; advertisers have no input into editorial content or price reporting.
